Breathing Wall
The Breathing wall is a highly efficient timber frame walling system which meters the passage of atmospheric toxins and water vapour through the wall to avoid interstitial condensation.

Warmcel cellulose blown fibre insulation has been installed within the 200mm timber frame wall and between the 250mm rafters creating a highly insulated, well sealed building.

The external substrate for the lime render is Hereklith. This is an Austrian wood wool material with a 90 year pedigree that is bonded with Mangasite, a naturally occurring mineral. Hereklith, an insulant that is applied to the outside of the studwork serves to break the cold bridge to the structural timber.
